LeMans Body Shop LA works with quite a few insurance companies which makes the processing of your claim both convenient and efficient. This week's featured insurance carrier is Progressive. What we like most about Progressive is that they are pretty much a one-stop shop for all your insurance needs:

  • auto insurance
  • motorcycle insurance
  • boat insurance
  • RV insurance
  • commercial auto insurance
  • truck insurance
  • homeowners insurance
  • renters insurance
  • life insurance
  • health insurance
  • snowmobile insurance
  • segway insurance
  • and even pet insurance!

We definitely value the relationship we've built with them over the years because they know that sending their clients to LeMans' Santa Monica auto repair body shop, or any of our shops for that matter, is always the best choice for keeping their clients satisfied. Plus, we love watching progressive commercials!

Don't ask us how this one happened. Your guess is as good as ours. Bad news for the horse, but good news for the car when you have this Los Angeles body shop on your side.

4 tips to avoid expensive auto repairs

Tulsa World offers some great tips to avoid costly auto collision repairs all of which exude the simple fact that we should all be better drivers by driving more offensively.

Tip #1: Give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination by starting earlier so you can drive at a safe speed. Most of the time, when we rush ourselves to get to our destination on time, we end up speeding which can sometimes cause rear-end collisions with other drivers who are driving at a safe speed.

Tip #2: Always follow the 10 second rule when driving, which means allowing for enough space between you and the vehicles in front of you so you have time to come to stop with making any close calls. If you stop too fast, the vehicle behind you might hit you because you were trying to avoid not hitting the vehicle in front of you.

Tip #3: Make sure your front and back windshields are clear to maximize your visibility. There's nothing worse than backing into another car because you couldn't see out of your back window.

Tip #4: Avoid using your cell phone while driving. Besides the fact that it's against the law in California, cell phone use while driving (even when using a hands-free device) can be a distraction when driving. Plus, you want to save your cell phone batteries for emergencies like when you are stranded somewhere.

If circumstances beyond your control lead you to have an accident, rest assured knowing that LeMan's Los Angeles auto body shop will take care of you. We do progressive auto repairs, allstate auto repairs and work with many other insurance companies as well.
